The visiting legislators also interacted with the students and discussed educational reforms, job-market readiness, and the growing role of technology in governance and public administration.
The programme began with a welcome address by Regional Director Dr. Sandeep Gupta, who highlighted the centre’s achievements in implementing the National Education Policy 2020 and promoting technical skill development. MLA Shagun Parihar stated that empowering women is not merely a social responsibility but an essential requirement for national progress and economic growth. Both leaders also informed students about various welfare schemes launched by the Government of India for youth and encouraged them to take advantage of start-up initiatives and digital literacy programmes.
Dr. Sandeep Gupta reiterated the importance of moving towards a model of “women-led development,” where women play a decisive role in leadership and policymaking across sectors. He thanked the visiting MLAs for interacting with students and said the dialogue provided a valuable link between academic learning and practical leadership experience.
