The Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has issued Notification No. 13-PSC (DR-S) of 2026 dated 24.02.2026 regarding the Provisional Select List for the post of Lecturer (Education) in the School Education Department
A total of 48 posts were referred by the School Education Department across various categories including OM, RBA, SC, ST-1, ST-2, ALC/IB, SLC and EWS. The posts were advertised earlier under Notification No. 07-PSC (DR-P) of 2024, and the written examination was conducted on 27.09.2025. The result of the written test was declared on 01.12.2025, with 152 candidates qualifying for the interview.
The viva-voce was held from 16.02.2026 to 24.02.2026, after which the Commission prepared the merit list based on performance in the written test and interview.
The selection list is purely provisional and subject to:

Verification of original documents at a later stage.

Outcome of any pending writ petitions before competent courts.

Submission of objections, if any, within five days from the date of issuance of the notification. No claims will be entertained after that period.
