(Shubham Pundir 121, Yawer Hassan 88, Paras Dogra 70, Kanhaiya Wadhawan 70, Sahil Lotra 57*, Prasidh Krishna 3/90) vs Karnataka
Jammu and Kashmir tightened their grip on the final after piling up a commanding 527 for 6 before bad light curtailed Day 2. Resuming at 284 for 2, J&K capitalised on a placid surface as six of their top seven batters crossed fifty.
Shubham Pundir laid the platform with a polished 121, while Yawer Hassan (88) and Abdul Samad (61) ensured sustained momentum. Karnataka briefly clawed back through the second new ball, reducing J&K to 327/4.
However, skipper Paras Dogra and Kanhaiya Wadhawan stitched a vital 110-run stand, both scoring 70, to restore dominance. Sahil Lotra seized his opportunity with an unbeaten 57, guiding J&K past 500 alongside Abid Mushtaq (20*).
For Karnataka, Prasidh Krishna was the standout with 3/90, while Shreyas Gopal chipped in with key breakthroughs.
With wickets still in hand and the pitch remaining batting-friendly, J&K hold a position of authority heading into Day 3.
